Some 20 inscribed gravestones stand within the enclosure of a new chainlink fence about 75 yards west of the Tallahassee-St. Marks bike trail in the south part of Woodville just inside Wakulla County. The fence, about 60 feet by 60 feet, apparently encloses the entirety of the graveyard, whose interior is maintained, more or less.
The 1940-41 survey of veterans' graves recorded the Hill Cemetery in a location fitting this site and designated it Plat 45 for Wakulla County, recording the graves of three veterans at the site. The most recent year-of-death inscribed on any stone is 1935. The plot, situated under a growth of pines and laurel oak, is perhaps 50 yards south of the latitude of Summer Haven Drive.
